Stonewall Book Award
Премия Stonewall Book Award
Награждаются: авторы книг на ЛГБТ-тематику на английском языке.
Значение в области литературы: первая и самая известная литературная премия ЛГБТ-тематики. В 2002 году премия была переименована в память Стоунволлского восстания (столкновения, которое считается первым, когда представители ЛГБТ-сообщества оказали сопротивление системе преследования сексуальных меньшинств).
Премия учреждена: в 1971 году. Спонсируется Американской библиотечной ассоциацией.
Премия присуждается: один раз в год. Вручается в январе (с 1990 года в двух номинациях, а с 2010 – в трех).
Лауреаты награждаются: денежной премией.
